Customer Dropped off his WD 10 Refrigerated Cooler for Restoration. Nice original to start from with butterfly lids and working cooling unit.
I dug into the unit last Sunday and tore it all down, Cabinet has been blasted, and primed, and minor body work done.
the lids had the most issues and some new metal had to be welded in where it was rotted by the hinges.
the inside Tub was shot.. once we sandblasted, it you could see right through it.. so a new galvanized tub and Condensor covers are bing made out of new galvanized..
Paint is going on this weekend...
body is back from paint and right to the Sign painter to get the lettering all applied by hand!.. lost art that look incredible when done!
Body is back from sign painter and all 5 Coke Graphics as well as Ice Cold are Hand Painted... Looks KILLER!..
Assembly has begun, New insulation, not bottom pan in tub and new galvanized steel liner installed. New gaskets and lid liners on lids and installed.
