VMC 81 7up Machine
- Received client machine. VMC 7up 81 was previously "Cosmetically" restored, Paint job only.. Insides where not even gutted, original insulation still in machine, tub was spray painted, shelves had been poorly restored and are rusting. bottle stack was not gone through, Coin mech untouched. Customer would like machine to be professional restored with the two Tone Green and white 7up Color Scheme.
- Tore down machine and was as bad as imagined, machine was not treated for rust from the inside and just painted over.. breaker strips where cracked and "Taped" back together, All parts are going to body shop this week.
- Body was Sandblasted, and prepped and repainted with the two tone 7up Green and white color scheme. Machine will begin reassembly this next week.. more photos to follow.
- Machine is back from paint and reassembly has begun, Main Cabinet has been put back together with all new insulation, new wiring and breaker strips, as well as all new a stainless steel hardware. Compressor has been reinstalled. Main Door has been put back together with new wiring for Bottle door light and new insulation, gaskets and liner. Main Door has been hung and some of the detail decals have been applied to front 7up logo which has been painted on. The Triangle graphic really makes the logo look much better and colors Match perfectly.
** note that the Green color, looks much lighter in the photos than what it is.. it's actually darker and best representation of actual color is of closeup of the front door logo... others look washed out and are not accurate..
Coin Mech and bottle Stack have been rebuilt after all parts where zinc plated and face plate powder coated. Coin mech was rebuilt and reinstalled on machine, Coin Door was put back on and just awaiting Chromed Coin Entry Bezel from Chrome guy.
Side Decals where applied as well and chrome accent was added to machine where it splits white and green..
Chrome was recieved back finally, after redone 2 times.. Turned out awesome and machine is done and awaiting shipping to customer.
