RESTORATION OF VENDO 81B COKE MACHINE
Customer ordered Vendo 81b Coke Machine for a Gift for his wife.
I had a Vendo 81b in stock, it was painted Pepsi blue but was a complete machine and ran and cooled just fine,, just needed a restoration in a bad way!
Machine was stripped down, all components bagged and tagged and body hauled off to bodyshop for sandblasting, prep and paint.
inside componoents are being cleaned and ready for plating, powder, paint or polish.
Compressor is checked and stripped, rewired , new fan motors , thermostat and rebuilt.
Main body was bodyworked for any dents, dings etc.. and prepped and primed.
New lower Pan installed into machine , removing the old one as it was rusted through..
Painted cabinet and Painted door with several layers of COKE Red,,, Great shine!
Main Cabinet is treated with undercoating on the insides.. and new insulation installed on walls and back then redone inner tub is inserted with all new breaker strips.
Main Door has COKE lettering hand painted back on.
New insulation on main door , new door liner, new gaskets.. light fixture gets all new wiring and switch.
Main door is installed on cabinet. Bottle door installed as well as newly restored coin mech and door hardware.
Main cabinet is done, all decals applied and just have to put in cooling unit and shelves, and lower trim plate.
