Popperette Popcorn Machine Restoration
Restoration documention for a Popperette Popcorn Machine.
Machine was 99% complete and initial breakdown has begun. Machine was an original on the original stand and overall condition was pretty good with original Globe and Plastics.
Machine will get completely torn down, all parts cleaned, polished , cabinet and stand painted back to original colors, and reassembled.
First step was to dissasemble the unit completely so that the main housing can get properly cleaned and repainted.
while the cabinet is at the body shop, the inner workings are completely dissassemlbed and all parts cleaned one by one. after cleaning each peice gets polished and then reassembled.
the inner workings are redone, and the body is still at the body shop getting it's new paint job.
Cabinet and Stand are Back from Paint, Look Awesome...
I've reinstalled the inner workings and have been cleaning and polishing all the trim, plastic front , and accessories that go on the machine. I am still waiting on a few peices to come back from Chrome and reinstall on machine.
The main unit is being completely rewired and should be done shortley... and then final peices would be installed and machine will be done..
Machine has been assembled and tested and works great!.. waiting on two peices of chrome and item will ship out.
Chrome Coin cup and Coin Entry are back from Chrome and installed on machine,, took a few more photos, but by now the globe was already packaged away for photos.. but got photo with sides, sign and all assembled.
Item is packed and shipped to customer.
