Restoration Logs for Vendo 81b for Customer out of Minneapolis
Customer orderd fully restored Vendo 81b Coke Machine for Birthday present..
Machine is one out of inventory and is a nice complete original...
Machine is torn down and everything bagged and tagged for restoration.
Main Cabinet torn down and all old insulation removed and discarded.. Body is sent to bodyshop for any dings, dents and such to get repaired before new paint job.
all smaller parts are broken down and sent off for rezinc plating...
tub and shelves and some misc parts are sent off for powder coating...
currently Body is at paint shop as well as main door...
Powder coating is back as well as all other small parts.
the Coin mech is done and bottle stack is being reassembled
Cooling unit is still being rebuilt...so it can be installed when cabinet is back.
Cabinet is still in paint, main door is painted and is now at sign painter to get lettering back on and will be back on Monday for assembly.
Main cabinet will be done by weeks end as well so assembly can begin.
All the small components will be done by the time the machine is back from paint so it will be assembled the week of the 12th and be ready for customer pickup in time for Christmas !
Main cabinet and main door have been assembled with all new insulation,gaskets, seals etc..
main door has new wiring and bulb in light assembly, restored coin mech and hardware installed.
Cooling unit is installed and tested.
all that is left is decals, shelves, kickplate and final finishing touches..
Machine is done and customer picked up..
